Moving Company
Family House Moving in Venice & West LA
Full-service house movers for family homes across the LA westside, local or long distance.
Full-service movers for the whole house
A family house move is a different job from a studio or an apartment. There is more furniture, more rooms, often a garage, a piano or a safe, and a family schedule to work around. Moving Pro is a full-service moving company, and larger family homes are the moves we like doing best.
Full service means our crew does the heavy work from start to finish. We pad and wrap the furniture, take apart beds and tables, and load the truck. At the new house we bring everything inside, reassemble what we took apart, and place it where you want it, room by room. You are not left with a driveway full of furniture and a hallway full of boxes.
Planned around the size of your home
We size the crew and the truck to the house. A four-bedroom home in Pacific Palisades might need a four-person team and a full day. During your free written estimate we ask about the rooms, the garage, the stairs and any large or fragile pieces, so the plan and the price are clear before moving day.
If you want help with packing, we can pack the whole house, or just the parts you would rather not touch, like the kitchen, glassware, artwork and electronics. Every box we pack is labeled by room and contents, so it lands in the right room at the new place. If your move-out and move-in dates do not line up, storage is available on request.
The pieces that need extra care
Family homes usually hold a few items that need more than a dolly: a piano, a gun safe, a pool table, art or antiques. Our crews move all of these with the right equipment and protection, so the whole house moves on one plan, with one company, on one day.
Local or long distance, with someone who has seen it all
We move family homes across Venice, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades and the rest of the westside, anywhere in California, and to all 50 states. On long-distance moves our delivery times are highly competitive with industry timeframes, and we usually beat them.
Moving Pro is owned and run by Vicky and Haim. Vicky has 26 years in the moving industry, and if your move has challenges or a lot of moving parts to sort out, she will personally help you through them. We are rated 4.9 stars across 157 reviews, and we are licensed and insured under US DOT #1864442, MC #675888 and CAL-T0191919.
