About this specialty item moving in Venice
Moving a grand piano is one of the hardest jobs in the business, and a third-floor walkup in Venice with a 36-inch stairwell is about as tough as it gets. A Steinway Model B weighs roughly 760 pounds and cannot be tipped, dragged, or rushed. Our crew has moved pianos across West LA for years, and every job starts the same way: measure the stairwell, plan the pivot points, and protect the walls and the instrument before anything moves.
For this Venice piano move we brought a four-person crew, stair-climbing dollies, and custom padding, and completed the carry in two hours with no damage to the piano, the walls, or the stairwell. If you need piano movers in Venice, Santa Monica, or anywhere in West Los Angeles, this is the level of care we bring to every specialty move, whether it is a baby grand, an upright, or a concert instrument.
